Spontaneity.

When I tell someone I like the sea, they link my response to the beach. Don’t get me wrong, I love the beach ; but what I love more is the sea. Especially when you’re on a boat with your hands out touch the water. The serene feeling.

When I was a kid, my mom took me snorkelling and I sang to the fishes through my breathing nozzle. Of course, I scared off all the fishes but at that moment I felt like Ariel, from Little Mermaid.

I remembered when the picture above was taken. In that very moment, I wanted to a yacht. Majestic and brave to the sail the mysterious waters. Twenty minutes after that, I jumped off a moving yacht, plunging into the cold salt water. I giggled when I surfaced the water and I felt free as the setting sun shared its orange rays with me.

I guess that’s what everyone needs. A little spontaneous act because trust me, a (or ten) year (s) from now, you’ll smile. It doesn’t have to be something grand. Just something like jumping off a moving yacht and making everyone else up there shocked ; it made me, me.

So I encourage you to do something spontaneous. Don’t hesitate or overthink. Like Nike said ‘Just Do It’.
