Chinese New Year at Yuen’s. That’s Iman, Haris and Yuen. Yes that’s me in my traditional wear. It’s been a long time since I’ve dressed up.

It’s good to dress traditionally because I’ve brought up in a family oriented way ; if you get what I mean. Chinese New Year is the one time of the year where everyone is gathered together, life talk and well, the FOOD! Delicious food in Yuen’s big house!

This is my boss/swimming coach. Yes, he’s a part time fisherman too! Lately, I’ve been heading over to Tenby Schools to coach. Honestly, working as a swimming instructor/coach is really great.

Of course there are times where some kids can make me go bonkers and all stressed up. But it’s part of the job and I love my work. Not only I do I teach in Tenby but also at the local community pool around my housing area. Truth to be told, being a swimming instructor is tough. There are moments where I feared of the kid drowning and the frustration that kids caused me.

None the less, it is enjoyable. I am a certified life saver anyways And working for my coach is pretty “rewarding”. Brother and I get to watch my coach in action when he fishes. Alright I’ll stop here. Till next time, dear readers.

I am proud to say, I am working as swimming instructor/coach. Officially of course. And that’s me three years ago. The one at lane 6, preparing to start my 100m event. After years of training, swimming competitions and tiring sessions of earning my Bronze Medallion for life saving, I am now teaching. Honestly, this is week no. 2 of my work and I’m liking it.

Let’s not forget that it is tiring and exhausting. Who said teaching kids how to swim was an easy task? It’s energy consuming and arduous too! Kids with tremendous phobia of water is the toughest and to overcome their fear of drowning is sure challenging. And there are some whom requires some chastisement. All in all, it is tough being a swimming instructor.

Nonetheless, I honestly enjoy it. It is fun and tomorrow I’ll be heading over to a school to teach school kids how to swim. Yaay!

Now I know why I enjoy music so much. It runs in the blood.

This is my grandpa’s magnificent handwriting. That song that he wrote? It’s one of his favorites. His smile pop up when he sings and he wrote the score of that song all by himself.

No help. Only by hearing and he wrote it :’) Yes I grew up listening to oldies.

365 days will be coming to an end soon. Another year flown by like a blink of an eye. If you were to read my previous posts, this year treated with a fair amount of emotions. Of course I am ever grateful for the family and friends that surround me. There are a few events that I love the most about this year. To start off, all the birthday events and celebrations. Not to mention the ones that my friends planned for me which made me teared!

This year is also my last year of high school before stepping into college. But I guess it’s time to grow up! I met a lot of new people along the way.

Why hello there from the other side of the cup I’m drinking from. As the title states, this is my Christmas post. However I am truly sorry for being in my “missing-in-action” period which was away from everything and everyone. But Christmas this year was different to me.

I didn’t do my annual Christmas shopping. Nonetheless, I spent Christmas forgiving.

Letting go of things is a conscious decision . Holding on to things is too . We tell ourselves we might need these things – however , it’s not really about the things . They are the things that keep us from taking risks in life that will bring us true happiness and peace . – Barb Rogers.

I’ve only seen baby Isaiah once and I immediately fell for his adorable features! LOOK AT THAT HAIR AND EYES! Tell me he’s the most adorable little boy you’ve ever seen!

This is Kar Yih and I on our prom night. He suited up and well, I looked like I wore an empire waist dress. I wore a pair of four inch heels and he was still half a head taller than I am.

Hello, we’re best friends

Kenny was that special boy. So special that he’s my love guru. A gentleman at heart and a boyish look on the outside. Happy Birthday, Kenny!

As you know, I love you so much! And the advice you put into my head is remarkably helpful. You don’t know how much they mean to me. Thanks for being a great friend and thanks for always being there! You see, I wanted to do a surprise party like how you did for mine during my birthday this year.

When you planned it, I nearly burst into tears. :’) Thanks Kenny. GAH. I love you so much. I hope you had a great day. And you have no idea how hard Meng Li and I searched for your present because the one thing that went through our minds was “ORANGE!” because you love the colour orange.

Thank you, Lord. Thank you for putting this special boy in my life. Thank you.

You get up telling yourself you’re strong but clearly reality hits you. Not you’re not fine but you tell everyone you’re fine. Because in actual fact, you’re holding back your tears. Then you’re back playing that same song and back to asking God.

Debating with Him on what is fair and what isn’t fair. And finally, you’ve got down to one question. Why can’t God just wipe everything in your head. Those painful memories and start new again. Move on. If only it was that simple.

Suddenly, everyone comes and tell you that they know how you feel but clearly they don’t. Then you’re back to the same spot. Waiting for time to heal.
