Say hi to E Kent, readers. Two days ago, E Kent celebrated his sweet sixteen in the hospital. I’m sure most of you already know about it through Facebook and it’s all over Twitter. Now let me tell you about E Kent.
E Kent. A boy whom I started making friends since 2005 because we were paired up for our KET examinations. Of course, being an 11 year old back then, I didn’t dare talked to him because he command of English was so good. I felt intimidated of course. One the day of our speaking exam, I was left with no choice but to talk to him. I mean, I couldn’t keep hiding from him every time.
Years passed and we saw each other every Friday for we have class together. We did group work together and well, we became friends. I hadn’t seen him in a year and just recently I found out that he was battling cancer. Most of you know, cancer can never be good. And today, his body done its greatest in the war.
E Kent, you were a boy who kicked ass. Hell. Scratch that. You were amazing. You gave those cells a hard kick. You did your part in the war, buddy. You were a great person with wonderful characteristics too. You brought inspiration to everyone during your battle and now, everyone will be remembering you as a guy who gave his all. Rest in peace, friend.

I didn’t know him, but I’ve heard enough about him to know that he was inspirational. My heart aches at the thought of his terrible ordeal and his family having to let him go forever. May God be by his side. <3 ):
